How I Got Here

I always knew I was different, and I always thought that was a good thing.

I’m a writer, artist, advertising creative, producer, performer and lifelong problem-solver. A polymath is someone whose knowledge and abilities span multiple disciplines—and who can connect them in ways a narrower specialist might miss.

That range is not a lack of focus. It is my strength. Every skill gives me another way to see the problem, reach the audience or build the solution.

Over the course of my career, I’ve collected what I like to call a big bag of monkey tricks. When a challenge appears,

I can reach across disciplines, pull out the right ability and put it to work.
